Sponsor Awards at LPBF

Local  businesses will sponsor major awards in this year's Lonesome Pine Band Festival to be held on October 6.

There are 3 top major awards.  The 1st top award is the Lucian Priode Grand Champion Award.  The 2nd top award is the David Tipton Soloist Award.  And the 3rd top award is the Reserve Grand Champion Award.

The Lonesome Pine Band Festival will be held at Carroll Dale Stadium in Wise, VA on the campus of Central High School (formerly J.J. Kelly High School). The festival will feature  bands from across Southeastern Kentucky, Southwestern Virginia and Northeast Tennessee vying for top honors and the coveted Lucian Priode Grand Champion Award.
